26 September 2008I spent most of the morning doing stuff and didn’t even remember it was my birthday. Weird!
Today is a crazy day for me – I had to play (trumpet) at the Homecoming Mass this morning, then teach classes, then the band uniforms came in (all mixed up so I have to sort them for each student), then the homecoming carnations will come in this afternoon and I have to sort them and pass them out, then we have more classes, then I rush home and eat an AWEOSME Fazolis dinner with my AWESOME parents after school, then rush back to school to hand out uniforms, then step off at 6pm for the homecoming parade, then struggle through pre-game and pray I get the timing of the songs right, then agonize over halftime and pray we don’t go over our time limit and hope the percussion feature rocks (as it always does), then I go home!
Whew!
