Failure is in the non-attempt
16 January 2008Ok, I had a small setback in my quest to be a nomad the other day. Today I vow to rectify it. It’s only a mistake if you don’t bother fixing it…and I will fix it.
My big attempt is to be patient today. Count to 10, count to 20, count to 3,000 – whatever it takes. Smile, grit your teeth, dig your nails into the palm of your hands, lie down and take it. Be patient, be forgiving, be accepting of the things that will never ever ever ever change because you are powerless in this situation.
I hate being powerless.
I will sit back and take all the blame over and over again. I might as well, since I am blame whether I defend myself or not. I am the biggest target on earth…if anything on the globe goes wrong or isn’t done right, we know who to point our fingers at!
