All about ME!

I am originally from Lorain, Ohio. That's kinda near Cleveland. Northern Ohio means Lake Erie, summer beach cruising, and SNOW SNOW SNOW. I hate the cold. I think I was supposed to be born in Florida. Anything under 90 degrees is cold to me!
My family consists of Kevin, and then Kevin's three kids: Cody, Courtney, and Caitlyn.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Music at Bowling Green State University. Go Falcons!
I am the Director of Bands at an awesome Catholic school in Ohio.
Along with my music, I also raise and show horses, paint, and play with new technology. I have EXPENSIVE toys!
My animal family consists of: Taylor ("Spare Me The Details") is my Appendix (now white-papered) mare born 6/1/98. She is a chocolate bay color (almost black), with a perfect white star and three white legs. She is out of Tory (Victoria Harbour TB) and is by the AQHA World and Congress champion Hunter Under Saddle stallion LAST DETAIL. Taylor had an incredible show career with over 100 AQHA points and several Congress finalist medallions. She has now retired and is starting a new career as a mother, so stay tuned! Corky ("Captivate Your Heart") is my 2004 bay Appendix (now white-papered) filly out of Fruit and by The Last Captive. She is sweet, gorgeous, loving, and definitely a keeper! Corky is my most successful breeding project, and together we earned two Congress top 10's. Along with Taylor, she helped me earn 4th place in the nation in AQHA limited open Hunter Under Saddle in 2007, which is probably one of the coolest things to ever happen to me. Pasta ("Wingmasters Pasta and Jazz") is a 1998 German Shorthaired Pointer. She is my horse show pal and daily companion. Milkshake is a 1998 deaf white cat I adopted from the Humane Society. She is the most fearless cat I have ever seen.
My music is important to me - I built my life and career around it! I feed my muse by playing in a jazz group in Dayton. The fun people in the group make the 70 mile trip worthwhile!
